It was payday. After finishing work, Tony stayed out the whole weekend instead of go home. On Sunday night, he finally went home and found his wife looking at him angry. Monday went by and Tony didn’t see his wife. Tuesday and Wednesday came and went, at the same result. But on Thursday, the swelling around his eye went down just enough that he could see his wife again.

Every year I spent Mid-autumn Day with my family. However, due to the pandemic I had to stay in university with my classmate this year. In the evening, all the students couldn’t go back home gathered in the classroom. We had a party to celebrate this tradition festival. We tried to have fun singing, dancing, reciting poems and play games. In that harmonious atmosphere, none of them felt lonely or homesick.
I was deep impressed by the special day. I couldn’t go home so I experienced such a wonderful Mid-autumn Day, which left me moving to tears. Thus, I learn to value with all the festivals in my life.
