Last Saturday was unforgettable. To offer a chance for us to keep touch with society, our class organise some meaningful social practice activities. We were divided into two groups. One group went to the crossings near our school, intend to help the traffic policemen. The another group went to collect rubbishes in Hongxing Park. In the meanwhile, we introduced some simply ways of environmental protection and reminded people not to destroy the beauty of the nature. I have been delighting that finally a summer camp will be organize during the last week of the summer vacation. The camp includes various course such as cooking, swimming and giving first aid. I plan to sign up the course of giving first aid.

Last Friday, we had a great fun. On December 17 we take part in a Tang Poetry Recitation Contest in our school hall, completing last year. The competition enjoyed great popular among us students. Last week, we took part in a series of activities intending to carry forward Lei Feng’s spirit. Have you ever wondered how an American high school is really like? A typical American high school has several large building and enough space for about 1,500 students. Every student is given a locker. When students first arrive in school, they go straightly to their lockers to put away or get their textbooks and to hang up their outdoor clothes. Though American textbooks are expensive, students would rather loan(租借）than to buy them. Students must pay back if they lose some of them.
