A large amount of food ended up in landfills every day. We feel it our duty to contribute to solve the problem. So we organized a series of activity with the theme “Clear Your Plate” in our school. First, to spread the idea, we prepared some handouts for either teachers and students. From the handouts, they realized the meaning of save food and learned how to do it. Then we asked about volunteers to help students ordering proper amount of food in the canteen. We also delivered speeches to make sure every student got involve. Finally, we made videos to share our feelings. From that campaign, not only have we learned how to save food, but also we have developed more environment-friendly and health lifestyle.

Dear Jim,
I am delighted to know you are curious about the lecture delivering in my school last month. Here, I’d like to share some detail about it.
To solve the conflict with parents and build more harmony relationship, our school held a lecture Build a Bridge of Communication with Parents, which turned out a huge success. That impressed me most was the communication skills. When we made mistakes, we should make an apology for parents sincerely. Unless they did something wrong, we should stand in our shoes, understanding and forgiving them. In the end, the lecturer had appealed to us to show more respect and love to our parents.
From now on, I made up my mind to greet my parents more in gentle voice and care about them with all my heart. I do hope my letter will help you get the whole picture of the lecture.

Our school is going to be hold an English talent show. The talent show, which theme is"English—Bridge to the World", will take place in your school gymnasium from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on March 31st. Every class are required to put on one performance, in which students can sing songs, dance, act out dramas, tell stories and give speeches.

Nowadays, I see a lot food thrown away by student in our school cafeteria into the dustbins. Some students often bought too much to eat. Others throw away the food just because it doesn’t taste well. Water is very important to us, without that there would be no life. We couldn’t live if we didn’t have water. Therefore, some people don’t turn the tap off at once after using it. During the national holiday, my family and I toured several scenic spot in our country. What impressed me mostly was a sharp decline in food waste.
I found all restaurants took measures to put end to food waste. They served foods in small dishes and provide free packaging service so that dinners could take away leftovers. In a buffet restaurant, eaters could receive fruits as a gift unless they finished all they had fetched. Customers were also trying to avoid waste food. There were fewer dishes seeing on their tables. They usually ordered for the right amount of food. How a good example they set to me! They will learn to save food from now on.
