Last Wednesday, the teachers and students in Senior Three attended the grown-up ceremony holding in our school hall, which theme was “Growth and Responsibility”. First, a student representing all of us made an one-minute speech. He showed our sincerely thanks to our parents and teachers and talked about our dreams. Then, some teachers and parents offered us their congratulations and expressed their expectations for ours future. Afterwards, wonderful performances were put on by students from a couple of class. Though the ceremony over now, it has made me realize clearly that I have grow up. I should be responsible to myself now. I will ever forget this experience.

As a lucky student, I attended the 2017 National English Summer Camp holding in a beautiful city of South West from July 24 to 29, it was sponsored by the English Weekly. Over 100 students and 20 English teaching experts from all over the province take part in it. All the campers must speak English. During the sixth days, a series of English activities were organized. We also visited some places of interest as well. Therefore, we had a colorful farewell party. The camp provided us for a great number of value opportunities to speak English, make friends and exchange learning experience. At end of the camp I found myself English improved a lot.
Are home visits necessary when they are so many ways to communicate with the students’ parent? Some people are for home visits. They thought home visits will make it easily for parents and teachers to communicate and work more closely to help students learn. Home visits will give teachers a chance to better understanding their students. Besides, others think it is a waste of the time and energy to pay home visits. If they keep on touch with the students’ parents with text messages, QQ or E-mails, it will be more convenient and save a lot of time. Personally, I think home visits is positive, and teachers can educate their students effectively through home visits.
