Mini Grants(拨款)Guideline
To celebrate Cultural Diversity Week (CDW) 2019 in March, Banyule City Council (Australia) is offering mini grants of up to $ 300 for people to learn more about Victoria's cultural and religious diversity.
Who can apply?
Clubs, community groups and schools that are located within Banyule can apply for the mini grant.
What can the grant be used for?
1) Supporting your group, club or school to attend a cultural museum.
2) Hosting your own event and inviting a guest speaker or cultural performer.
Museum visits
Melbourne has a number of fantastic museums that display different cultures. A list of suggested cultural museums is included in this document. But you can also visit other museums.
Hosting your own event
The grant can be used to invite a musician, dancer or guest speaker from the Victorian multi—cultural community to perform at your event. For a list of speakers and performers, visit www.multi—cultural.vic.gov.au.
How to apply
To apply for the grant, visit banyule. smarlygrants. com. au. Applications must be sent by 27 January 2019. You will need to provide the following information:
1) Tell us in 100 words or less how your group would benefit from the cultural education experience.
2) Tell us the museum you plan to attend or which cultural performer or guest speaker yon will invite.
3) Provide a budget of your activity and the number of people who will take part.
4) If possible, tell when the even or museum visit will be held.
We encourage applications from groups that intend to hold their event or museum visit curing Cultural Diversity Week March 2019. If this is not possible, at the latest, the event or museum visit must occur before the end of April 2019.

Happy Shells volunteer organization is looking for young people aged 15-20 to join our camp on the Florida coast. Participants will help to build protective fences(栅栏)around the nests of sea turtles(海龟)which come to the beaches during the summer to lay their eggs. At the end of the camp, participants receive a certificate(证书)that can be used for credit on high school and college courses.
Cost: $360 for three weeks to cover food and hotel.
Powerhouse Boot Camp
When: 2 weeks in July or August
The name of the event could give some people the wrong idea. Participants actually stay in a hotel, not an outdoor camp. But it definitely is an intensive(集中的)course of physical training. If you want to get into shape fast, Powerhouse Boot Camp is for you.
Cost: $260 per week.

We are always working to improve our infrastructure (基础设施) and technology to make sure our customers can enjoy a safe, reliable and comfortable experience on trains and at our stations. Sometimes we need to temporarily close tracks or stations to complete upgrades or work to ensure our trains run safely and on time. Additionally, some track closures will affect Cross River Rail, which is Queensland’s largest rail infrastructure project. Most works are scheduled outside of peak times to minimise disturbance.
