Old Buildings across City Revived by Industry Parks

The Longfu Temple community in Beijing, a booming commercial center dating back six centuries, has become a trendy spot for young people to visit exhibitions, bookstores and enjoy coffee. It is one of the traditional     1     (landmark) in the Chinese capital to undergo transformation, adopting     2     technological look, and     3     (gain) a new life.

It took me 72 hours by train    5    (travel)from Xinjiang to Beijing, with a distance of over 3,770 kilometers. In 1990, my brother also passed the entrance     6    (exam)and chose his favorite major and he was enrolled in a university in Guangzhou,     7    he now lives and works.

Recalling the changes over the past four decades, I think    8    (improve) transportation is very important to our family. The long distance kept us apart most of the time.
