To be honesty, it was my older brother that inspired my passion for the violin. When I was five years old, he came home from school one day with the violin and played it. I was green with envy and wanted to start immediate. My first violin is given by my violin teacher and I named it with the little dog called ToTo in The Wizard of Oz. Now, I am the youngest members of the Australian Youth Orchestra. Surrounded by many more older and more advanced players, I have no choice but try and keep up with their level of playing. I often invite some of my friends which are not so into classical music to a concert and he love it.

I had been collecting the songs of the Beatles for an long time. The first time when I saw them on the television, I was immediately attracted by them. Actual, my favourite song is Yesterday, that is very sad. However, not all their songs is like that. Some are funny and cheerful, and some express original idea and have lovely tunes. It seem to have an ability to describe the hopes and fears of young people and communicate them. I’m sure their music will be remembering forever.

My son and I drove from Pennsylvania to Seattle in late November. Approached Rawlins, Wyoming, in Thanksgiving Day, we pulled off to eat. Only place was still open. We were greeted and seated quickly, but the waitress told us the food would be out shortly. Without ever seeing a menu, we are soon served a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the food what was left. When we asked for their check, the owner said that every year the restaurant provides a freely Thanksgiving dinner to give back to the community. He wouldn’t to accept money even from travelers like us just passing through. We left in 14-degrees weather with snow blowing sideways, full of gratitude.

When I was a little kid, I dreamed of keeping on a dog. My parents disagreed, saying that I was too young that I couldn't take care of myself, let alone a dog. I didn't give up. Instead, I tried to be independence and often helped with housework. A few month later, my parents found that I had become considerate than before. They finally approve of my request. On my eight birthday, they bought me a lovely dog as the gift. Followed my parents' directions, I've learned how to raise the dog. I still miss those days that we accompanied each other.
