Last Friday will live in my memory forever. It was the first time when I had performed Latin dance with the classmate on stage.
After I changed into my suit, I stood quiet, waiting for our turn. While standing on stage, I am afraid of looking at the audience. Then the music began, but we started to dance. Concentrating in what I was doing, I began to feel better. Finally, it was over. As we left the stage, I said to my partner: “We did a good job.”

I went to watch the ballet The Peony Pavilion last Sunday’s evening. Because I think ballet was more or less the same everywhere, I was total unprepared for its unique beauty. I was absorb the moment when the curtain rose. The performance borrowed a lot from Chinese dance and music, but the Eastern influence on the ballet was clear. The production was full with colors and romantic symbols, and challenged my senses in many way. So much did I enjoy that it changed my opinion about ballet. I can’t wait to going again!

I admire the cellist Yo-Yo Ma. Born in Paris, France, in 1955, Ma started playing the cello the age of four. When he was seven, he moves with his family to New York City.
