Chinese delivery driver, Gao Zhixiao, was featured on the cover of the magazine Time in March because of his devotion to serving customers during the novel corona-virus outbreak(新冠肺炎疫情爆发). Along with five others, he    1    (pick) by the magazine as one of the heroes. Ever since COVID-19 broke out, many restaurants shut down or switched to takeout-only services.     2    (million) of people had to stay home to avoid getting infected. People chose to order food online or buy fruit and vegetables to cook at home. As     3     result, delivery orders increased    4    (great), placing a huge burden on delivery drivers.

Gao was     5    (bear) into a poor family, and started to make a living in Beijing     6     the age of 16. After the novel corona-virus broke out, Gao hesitated for a while to continue working, but then picked up orders because he     7    (think)customers might be in need. In view of the importance of the control and     1     (prevent) of the COVID-19, 100 restaurants across Shanghai advocated the use of serving utensils (器具).

Chinese people often eat together and share their     2    (dish) with others. The new system suggests     3    (add) separate chopsticks and spoons for serving when people dine together. Such a change of etiquette (礼仪) allows diners     4     (avoid) using their own chopsticks to pick food from the plates, and therefore     5     (great) reduces the chances of spread of many diseases.

Many restaurants     6    (adopt) the policy after the Municipal Office for Civilized Society published the suggestion,    7    also encourages the public to use separate utensils for shared food at home.

According to Qu Qi, a person in charge     8     a restaurant in Xuhui district, a sign     9    (put) up on the tables to inform people of the importance of using serving utensils, since the start of business on February 21. The waiters and waitresses are also trained to supply a separate spoon or pair of chopsticks for the diners. So far,     10     service has been well accepted by the majority of the public.

This will be a long-term measure. In the future, each diner on the table will have their own serving chopsticks and spoons so as to prevent sharing of any manner of viruses and bacteria.

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class walking home from school，     1     (carry) all of his books. A bunch of kids were running toward him, knocking all his books out of his arms and making him land in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. Robotics is a complex field. But brothers Sanjay and Arvind Seshan found an early passion for it. In 2014, they started a mission to make     1     easier for others to learn robotics by creating a website,     2     they teach people to code.

The story started when they were looking for materials for learning how to program, and they     3     (realize )that there was not really anything good online. Then they came up     4     an idea of creating a brief set of lessons from which kids and adults can     5     (easy)learn to program.

The website started with basic lessons on robotics and coding. But now the lessons can support kids who     6     (involve)with robotics for years and who want to learn something new.
