Tea is native to China. There are fifteen major tea-producing provinces in the Chinese Mainland, and Taiwan also produces tea. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) recently released a document from Chinese experts     1     (classify) tea into six types.

The basic tea types are black and green tea, white tea, oolong tea, dark tea and yellow tea, according to the new standard     2     (establish) by Anhui Agricultural University in Hefei, Anhui province. The standardization work     3     (lead) by Wan Xiaochun, professor and director of the State key laboratory of tea plant biology and utilization at the university.

Chen Chuan, a pioneer in tea science, put forward     4     has been regarded as the classification standard as early as in 1979. It has been     5     (wide) adopted since then but had not become an international standard until March, when the document was released, Wan said during a news briefing earlier this week.

The preparation of tea is based     6     processing fresh tea     7     (leaf) and aeration. The six tea types can be further processed or reprocessed     8     (create) products such as scented tea, compressed tea and instant tea, the ISO document said. Pottery (陶器) may be the oldest artwork of human beings. As far back as more than 8,000 years ago, people in China first made pottery by mixing clay with water and     1     (bake) it until it held its shape. The Lantern Festival falls on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month．     1    marks the end of the Chinese New Year celebrations．

There are many stories     2    how the Lantern Festival started． In one story， lanterns were lit     3    （celebrate） the power of light over darkness． In    4    story， a town was almost destroyed but    5    light from many lanterns saved it． The story was about a god     6    wanted to burn down the town． He was fooled    7    he saw thousands of lanterns． He thought the town was already burning．

In the past， lanterns were    8    （usual） lit by candles and decorated with pictures and flowers， etc． Nowadays， various lanterns come in many shapes and    9    （size）． In the north﹣eastern part of China， there are even ice lanterns．

The special food the Lantern Festival is the sweet dumpling． Sweet dumplings     10    （boil） and served in hot water．
