The old people in nursing home welcomed us at the door and the moment we met, we     1     (开心地拥抱了彼此). We brought them some small gifts and     2     (帮助他们装饰房子). As hosts, they treated us to desserts. We played together, setting off fireworks, singing and dancing. We did have an enjoyable night. At last, while they     3     (挥手道别), I found tears in their eyes. Therefore, it must be an unforgettable experience for them.

It’s my great honor to have the opportunity to call on all of you to take part in volunteer activities     1    .

In my view, firstly, volunteering can     2     both mental and physical health for a volunteer. An individual who volunteers may see a rise in their     3     because helping others can provide a sense of achievement.     4    , no one can deny the fact the volunteering enables us to build     5     skills.

Volunteering can not only make us feel good but also makes our world more     6    . So, join us!

I’d like to share with you a voluntary activity which you deserves     1     (participate) in this winter vacation.

Scheduled from February 5 to 8, the activity includes some rewarding events, ranging from     2     (照顾需要帮助的残疾人), tutoring children to collecting waste in the parks. There will be more than 30 people working together, which will     3     (提供一个平台) where we can not only promote friendship and teamwork but develop our practical skills and sense of responsibility.
