Characters, such as zun and ding, are widely used to describe various types of bronze vessels. But many others are rarely seen, and therefore difficult for us     3     (recognize) and correctly pronounce. Qingong Bo is a musical instrument to produce sounds similar to that of a bell. It also bears an inscription of 135 characters,     4     can help historians learn more about the history of the Qin state.

In recent years, the term “China Chic” has been known among fashion enthusiasts nationwide. The promotion of cultural     1    (confident) is the driving force for its formation. A Chinese university is working with a top brand to support designers in this area.

Tapestry, a fashion group, with Donghua University launched a training program,     2     was aimed to promote “China Chic” abroad. May 21st this year marks the first International Tea Day which was named officially     1     the United Nations on November 27th, 2019. To celebrate     2     festival, a number of events took place at the Chinese Businessman Museum in Beijing on Thursday.

The chairman of the China Culture Promotion Society     3     (give) a speech at the opening ceremony. “As a main promoter of the International Tea Day, the birthplace of tea and the     4     (large) tea-producing country, China has a     5     (responsible) to work with other countries to promote the healthy development of the tea industry. My favourite part of the show was how the characters moved on stage. I had never seen Prince Hamlet do a backflip before! That was simply incredible. Before     9     (experience) The Revenge of Prince Zidan, I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy it. But, in fact, I was on the edge of my seat! Feeling the strong emotions of love, anger, fear and grief in the performance, I could easily recognise the theme of Hamlet. So, if you want to see a show     10     combines music, singing, drama, poetry and costume design with explosive effect, The Revenge of Prince Zidan ticks all the right boxes!
