Welcome to LoveMama! We are a NY-based Malay, Vietnamese and Thai influenced Southeast Asian Restaurant and Caterer providing you tasty dinner in our Manhattan dining area. We also provide takeout, and catering for individuals and groups or for private events.
HistoryEstablished in 2013. With humble beginnings as a food cart, the popularity of Love Mama’s Malaysian street food boosted to opening a Manhattan restaurant in 2014.
Popular ItemsThe most commonly ordered items and dishes from this restaurant are as follows: Edamame Dumpling, Korean popcorn chicken, Lucky Noodle, Steak and Bread Pudding.
ReviewsI love this place. The food, customer service and prices were all great. We ordered the RotiCanai Planta, Rendang Nasilemak with chicken, Vegetable Salad Vietnamese Style, and Uncle Plump’s Dumplings. The Rendano Nasi Lemak was the highlight of the meal.
My boyfriend forgot to tell them about allergies and told them halfway as they were preparing our order. They responded really well. In the end, we even got to have a nice conversation with the owner of the restaurant. Super great guy! We were pleasantly surprised with the low price at the end of the meal too. If you are in New York, you have to check out LoveMama. Best meal I have had in a while.
——Mary Brooklin
Stopped by here for Valentine’s Day and we were not disappointed. We got 3 different dishes all from the Malaysian portion of the menu as none of us had ever had Malaysian food. While the service was not good, we didn’t mind at all. For $20 each with tip and feeling full and happy, this is a spot I’d definitely recommend!

【推荐2】Which tablet computer should YOU be buying: They are this year’s must have ... and there’s a style to suit everyone.
Best for young children LeapPad Explorer 2, £68 Aimed at children between three and nine (though a nine-year-old might find it a little simple), it comes in pink or blue and with five built-in education games (you can buy more). Besides, the LeapPad does not allow access to the internet — so it is impossible for your child to stumble across anything inappropriate. Pros: The education games are well- designed, the built-in video camera is a fun way to play at being a film director. Cons: Some of the games are shockingly expensive. And the power adaptor is not included. | Best for teenagers iPad 4th generation, £399-£659 The iPad is still the market leader, and for good reason. If the teenager in your house enjoys playing computer games, the latest offering from Apple is the one to choose. Pros: No other tablet can compete with the near one million ‘apps’ (the name Apple created for specially-designed downloadable programs) available for the iPad. Simple to use, even for those who usually struggle with technology. Cons: Considerably more expensive than most competitors. |
Best for working parents Microsoft Surface, £399-£559 Tablets are brilliant for leisure — but what if you want to do a bit of work? No tablet can yet compete with a full-size laptop computer, but this is the only tablet that allows you to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint (they are all pre-installed and included in the price) and you can buy a pretty lovely mini-keyboard for typing letters and emails, which also doubles up as the cover. Pros: The Surface is good for watching movies — a bonus when stuck in the airport on a business trip — and surfing the internet. Cons: The keyboard is an expensive add-on — costing up to £109. It might be cheaper to buy a laptop (though a tablet is much smaller and lighter). | Best for bookworms Amazon Kindle Paperwhite, £109 Nearly all tablets let you download books. It's a great way to take a mountainous pile of hardbacks on holiday without stuffing your suitcase. But most tablets have a shiny screen — which can be very distracting (分心) when you're trying to read. The Paperwhite is different: its matt screen and crisp black lettering imitate the look of words on paper brilliantly. And yet you can still read the words in the dark. Pros: Easy on the eye, excellent battery life, 180,000 free books (if you subscribe to the Amazon Prime customer loyalty service) plus hundreds of thousands more to buy. Cons: No TV, films, games, internet or camera. |
A.quarrel with | B.compare with |
C.meet with | D.compete with |
A.The keyboard can serve as a cover. |
B.You have to pay extra to install Microsoft Word. |
C.The keyboard will not add to the cost. |
D.You cannot watch movies or surf the internet with it. |
A.LeapPad Explorer 2. | B.iPad 4th generation. |

151 Walker
Walker is a large adult male. He has a long nose and widely spaced, upright ears. He was first identified as an independent two-year-old in September 2009. He remained a friendly bear until his young adult years. However, he has become very unfriendly to other bears, including some of his former playmates as he matured into a fully grown bear. Walker weighed about 454 kg in September 2022.
480 Otis
Otis is a master of patience. He rarely makes an effort to run after the fish like other bears. Once access to his preferred fishing spots becomes available, he’s extremely focused on the water and waits patiently for them. Otis is one of the oldest bears at Brooks River. He weighed more than 409 kg in September 2022. He was the Fattest Bear Tuesday champion in 2014 and Fattest Bear Week champion in 2016 and 2017.
503 Lucky
Bear 503 has led a particularly unique life. Most bears separate from their mothers at the beginning of their third or fourth summer. However, 503 separated from his mother at the beginning of his second summer in 2014. Small, skinny, and alone, he faced significant uncertainties during that time. Fortunately, he was adopted by 435 Holly, a female bear, who was then caring for just one baby bear. Through his childhood and early adulthood, 503 has remained curious and playful. He often starts playful fights with other bears including some who are larger and older.
128 Grazer
Grazer, who is around 19~21 years old and has a long straight nose and large blond ears, was introduced to Brooks River in 2005. Grazer is the most protective mother bear. Rather than imitating nature or organic elements within the natural world, organic architecture is more concerned with re-interpretation of nature and harmony between the organic and the built environment. It ensures that the individual elements within buildings are put together to reflect the order within nature. Here are 4 of the most striking examples.
Casa Milà
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Year of completion:1910
Architect: Antoni Gaudi
Considered the greatest exponent of Catalan Modernism, Antoni Gaudi was devoted to nature and the Catholic religion. While he originally intended this organic building to have a religious purpose, it is now an apartment building. True to the organic style, it features honey shapes that seemingly emerge from the earth.
Learning Hub at Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
Location: Singapore
Year of completion:2015
Architect: Thomas Heatherwick
Earning the nicknames ‘dim sum basket building’ and ‘the Hive’, the Learning Hub consists of 12 eight-storey towers arranged around a public atrium. The organic nature of the building extends to its interior with features like gardens that are intended to encourage social interactions and study among students.
Falling Water
Location: Mill Run, Pennsylvania
Year of completion:1939
Architect: Frank Lloyd Wright
A classic of modernism and organic architecture, Falling Water sits on top of a waterfall. Frank Lloyd Wright designed it for the Kaufmann family who-though they had originally hoped for a view of the waterfall-came to love the home.
East Beach Café
Location: Littlehampton, UK
Year of completion:2007
Architect: Thomas Heatherwick
Located in a seaside area with an industrial history, East Beach Cafe resembles (像) a piece of driftwood. Forty meters long, seven meters wide and five meters high, it initially polarised locals, but has since been well-received by the whole community. It was the first building for Thomas Heatherwick who previously was better known as a sculptor.
