Is it necessary to practise handwriting? Some students consider handwriting least important than before. They preferred the keyboard to the pen now, for the former is fast, convenient and clear. They think it is waste of time practising handwriting. However, others think Chinese handwriting is an important part of our traditional culture.
Though computers are very convenient, but handwriting still plays an important role in the modern world. Beside, beautiful handwriting makes a good impression in others. It shows your attitude to do things. Chinese character are very beautiful and rich in culture. As for me, when reading a neatly writing article, you will feel pleased and relaxed.

Dear Terry,
How are you doing? Learning that you are about to pay a visit to a Chinese friend and confusing about the Chinese customs, I am writing to put forward some advices.
Firstly, I would like to suggest that you must arrive 5 to 10 minutes earlier, which is common in the Chinese traditional culture. Secondly, if I were you, I would bring some appropriately gifts with myself, such as souvenirs from your own country. Beside / table manners are also what you should pay attention. For example, you are not supposed to sticking your chopsticks into your food. Instead, laying it on your dish is a smart choice.
If you had any other problems, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Yours,
