Chinese Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival for Chinese people. Joyful celebrations take place all over the world during the festive days. No matter who you are or where you are from, you are welcome to send us photos of valuable moments from Chinese New Year celebrations.

·Traditional customs (风俗), such as cleaning the house and New Year’s Eve dinner.

·Modern customs, such as the Spring Festival travel rush, giving out or receiving mobile red envelopes (红包) or travelling.

·National activities, such as dragon dances, lion dances, yangko dances, local customs.

·Foreigners experiencing the Spring Festival, such as celebrations around the world or anything that shows the integration (融合) of the festival and local life.

The contest will choose 50 photos (single or group).

First prize: 5 photos, with 2,000 RMB in prize money for each winner

Second prize: 15 photos, with 1,000 RMB in prize money for each winner

Third prize: 30 photos, with 600 RMB in prize

The delivery date: from Dec 20, 2023 to Feb 12, 2024

The result will be published on June 1, 2024

·All entries (参赛作品) must be real and not photo edited. The color of the image may be changed.

·Entries can be single photos or a group of photos. A group of photos counts as one entry and each group may have four to ten photos.

·Entries should have titles and a short photo description (such as time, place and people in the photo).

F the Art World is an international art competition organized by www.ftheartworld.com which is quite unusual, compared to other competitions. The artworks are not judged on the basis of creativity and skill. Instead, they're judged by the depth of the subject matter. The subject this year is “A Competition About Change”, where artists can try and show how they'd like to change humanity in a good way.

*For this competition, there are three types for submissions, namely: street art, fine art, and digital art.

*Each type will have a winner as chosen by the organizers and all the winners will have the wonderful chance to exhibit their works at the Unarthodox Gallery in New York in a week-long exhibition.

Located in southern Shaanxi province and with favorable weather conditions for growing rapeseed flowers, the Hanzhong Basin is a traditional planting and production base for the oilseed rape vegetable. The city of Hanzhong is home to more than 70,000 hectares of rapeseed flowers, yielding 144,000 tons of canola oil each year.

Menyuan Hui autonomous county in Northwest China’s Qinghai province is a production base for the oilseed rape vegetable in northern China. Rapeseed flowers can be seen everywhere, but those growing in Menyuan look extremely magnificent. Against the blue sky of the plateau, the beautiful flower sea complements villages and distant mountains and rivers. While walking into Menyuan Hui autonomous county, you may have a feeling of crossing a natural painting.

Known as “a pearl of water town”, Xinghua in East China’s Jiangsu province has rich culture and unique scenery. From April to May, the blooming rapeseeds in Xinghua form a vast golden sea of flowers. The Qianduo area attracts tourists who ride a boat to cruise through the flower sea and are intoxicated by fragrance of the flowers.
