Sensory & Mobility ConsiderationsLight, noise and crowds vary widely throughout the building. Please feel free to bring your own noise-canceling headphones or other calming items. All spaces in the center are wheelchair accessible. All floors are accessible by elevator or stairs.
● Parking & RestroomsAccessible parking spaces are available on the three floors of the Science Center parking lot. Accessible parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is $15 per vehicle.
All the restrooms here are wheelchair accessible. Private family style restrooms are available upon request, please see any Guest Services Host.
● Wheelchairs & Service AnimalsStandard manual wheelchairs are available for free at the Information Desk, used inside the California Science Center.
Service dogs trained to do work or perform specific tasks for a guest with a disability are welcome in all of the Science Center spaces. Emotional animals and pets are not permitted.

Our Bilingual (双语的) Guest Services and Education staff members wear buttons indicating languages in which they are fluent. In addition, the Information Desk offers maps in six different languages.
● Audio GuidesAudio guides in both English and Spanish are often available for special exhibits. For special exhibits with audio guides, transcripts are available at the entrance to the exhibit upon request.

Explore the Caves (岩洞): Taiji Cave
Where: Guangde City, Xucheng City, Anhui Province
The cave measures over 5.4 kilometers in length in total. Go White—water Rafting: White—water Rafting in Guaitan
Where: Shitai County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province
The white-water rafting course in Guaitan measures 4.5 kilometers long and is praised as the “top white-water rafting course of southern Anhui” with its unique sights such as unusual rocks, trees and water.
The course has large drops and the water is deep and clear. The scenic site also offers fun activities such as millstone turning, waterwheel pedaling and fishing.
Visit the Busy Night Markets: Tunxi Old Street
Where: Tunxi District, Huangshan City, Anhui Province
Tunxi Old Street is home to the distinctive Hui-style architecture and is the most well preserved in China with the most traditional layout from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. As the night falls, the lights make the streets and lanes bright. The unique culture and local customs of ancient Huizhou are on full display, taking visitors back in time to the busy market of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Treasures of the library’s extensive collection include a rare copy of the 1916 proclamation (宣言) of the Irish Republic and a beautiful 15th century harp (竖琴).
Joe and Rika Mansueto LibraryOpened in 2011, the Joe and Rika Mansueto Library at the University of Chicago is designed with a grand glass roof, perfect for staring out when you are tired. The library can hold around 3.5 million volumes through its underground automatic storage system. If you are not already impressed, the librarians, robotic cranes, will knock your socks off. They can locate and bring you any book within an average time of 3 minutes.
