Dear Jack,
I’d like to introduce you what has happened to the transportation in our city.
Firstly, great changes have been taken place to the transportation inside the city, which makes it convenience for citizens to get around. Some narrowly streets have been broadened, but there are less traffic jams. Secondly, transportation to other city has also improved. Several highways were under construction, and two high-speed railways connected our city to the national high-speed railway web are close to completion. At that time, the travel time to Beijing will be reduced to three hours. What deserve to be mentioned is that an airport has been in use for several years, making your city more and more popular.
Yours
Li Hua

With more and more cars come into our families, we are happy that it has greatly improved our life. But unlucky, it has also brought many problems, such as heavy traffic and traffic accidents.
Traffic safety is everybody’s business. We must obey the rules. For examples, we must walk on the sidewalks. When we cross zebra-crossing, stop and look right and left, and then go across fast. Don’t play the football on the road. Beside, we can tell our parents not to drink after we drive, not to run through red lights, not to use cell-phones while driven etc.
We can say cars are coming into our life, but only when everybody thought traffic safety is his or her business can we be safe driving on roads and walk on sidewalks.

You probably know the basics of being safe online: don’t give personal details to somebody you don’t know, and check trusting sites. When you experience online bullying (霸凌), the first thing to do is to tell a adult about what’s happening. If another person posts information that frightened you, you can report them to the social media or gaming platform where it happens. Being a good digital citizen is all what we should do. How you act online is just so important as how others treat you. Good digital citizen use online space positively, which means treating everybody online with kindness and respect. If you’ve shared with something you shouldn’t have, it’s never too late to say sorry and fix the situation. If you notice somebody is being cyberbullied, consider reporting it and getting touch with the person being treated bad to make sure they’re ok.

Recently, as the development of the Internet, there is a kind of language calling the Web Language. The other day our class have a discussion about whether we should welcome the Web Language. Forty percent of the students think it ridiculous. In their opinions, it does no good to helping people communicating with each other, nor is it useful for learning English. Beside, it’ll make Chinese less standard, finally ruining our mother tongue. However, 60% of our class are fond of it. They think it simple, convenient and helpful in expressing them. Personally, I think it’s not good habit to use the Web Language. It may be popular, and you may also make yourself be misunderstood.
