Nowadays many people drive instead of taking a bus or walking to work. It cause more traffic jams and accidents. As the student, what can we do to guarantee our safe? First of all, the traffic rules must be strict obeyed. When we cross streets, waiting until the traffic light turns green. Next, don’t forget walk on the pavement. Finally, I think it very dangerously to wear headphones while walking or cycling. Since we can’t pay enough attention on the traffic around us, so accidents may happen. Keep traffic safety in mind
To raise students awareness of road safety,one traffic police officer was invited to give us a lecture in the school hall the other days.
At first, an officer presented us with some typical cases of traffic accidents, which greatly shock all the students. Then, he analyzed what led to the accidents and stressed the significant of following traffic rules. Finally, to make all the students at present understand the traffic regulations better, he interpreted them in detail.
So valuable the lecture that all our students benefited considerable. We realized what to avoid being injured on the road and that they should attach great importance to obeying traffic rules as well.
