So happy am I to learn that you are coming to China and would stay at my home during the Chinese New Year. My parents and I am very pleased to have them with us. Now please allow me to tell you that we have arranged for you. My family will arrange large number of things for you to do in the morning. After that, I’ll show you around and take you to some places of interests. At night, we’ll most stay at home watch the Spring Festival Gala, playing mahjong, and chatting with people. I firmly believe in that we’ll have a wonderful time but enjoy each other’s company.

Lin Tao is one of my best friend at school. He is so helpful that everyone calls him as “Lei Feng”. One day, it rained heavily after school, so I didn’t take the umbrella. Most of my classmates have already left and I felt quite helplessly. I was standing in the classroom sadly while Lin Tao came back and said, “My father will come to fetch me. I won’t use the umbrella and you can take them.” I thanked Lin Tao, which help made me warm on such a rainy day. As an old saying goes, “Giving roses to others and the lasting fragrance will remain in your hands.” I will learn Lin Tao and be always ready to help others.

My name is Ann. I’ve been here in China in a few years. With the help of Li Hua, a good friend of mine, I’ve been used to live in China. Li Hua, like other girl, is beautiful and lively. We became friends after we meet each other a few years ago. Although her English isn’t easy to understand, but we enjoy chatting and we usually talk a lot about my favorite books. We’re both surprising that Chinese culture and American culture are such different. Now we are planning nice party for next Sunday. There, I will introduce Li Hua to my friends, whom also have great interest in Chinese culture.

Last Sunday, my parents and I went to the countryside, which we had a great time together. To make it a green journey, we all agree to cycle there. With everything ready, we set out. Upon arrival, we got down to making preparation. Everyone was enjoying the pleasant but relaxing family atmosphere in open air. After the meal, my father and I couldn’t wait to fly kites. We watched our kites dancing high in the sky, laugh happily together. Mum couldn’t help cheering for them. Dusk fell down before we realized it. Seated together at ease, we quietly watched the gold setting sun, wishing to have more joyfully weekends like this.
