Qualifications:The director should have academic qualifications that live up to UNU - EHS position in the international scholarly community;guarantee scientific excellence;and provide leadership and guidance for activities at UNU -EHS and UNU -ViE.
Experience:Strong research background and publications in areas related to addressing risks and Social change.Proven administration experience.Strong international fundraising skills and past success in securing support from funders. Proven sensitivity to gender (性别) factors. Fluency in English is required. Fluency in German and official languages of the United Nations is desirable.

2. Visiting Scholars & Teachers taking Refresher Course in Continuing Education Office
All the visiting scholars and teachers taking refresher course in Continuing Education Office can read books and periodicals in library reading rooms only with your valid IC Cards. If you need to borrow books, you must take your deposit and materials fee to the staff of Continuing Education Office, then the staff will help you open your library privilege at Library Card Center.
Deposit(押金):¥ 1000.00: valid for 100 books both Chinese and foreign language.
Materials Fee:¥ 100.00/y (lump-sum payment, non-refundable)
3. Temporary Staff Without IC Cards
Readers who have a temporary research cooperation with schools and departments of Tsinghua University can apply for a temporary CPU Card for reading or borrowing books in the library when taking academic research in our university.
You should take your ID Card, electronic ID photo (jpg, send to bzhch@lib.tsinghua.edu.cn), your supervisor signed Introduction Letter from your work department which has an agreement with the library, and fees when applying for a CPU Card at Library Card Center.
Deposits: ¥ 100.00: only valid to read in the library; ¥ 300.00: valid to borrow 5 Chinese books; ¥ 1000.00: valid for 5 books both Chinese and foreign language.

You can start horse riding at any age. Choose private or group lessons on any weekday between 9 am and 8:30 pm (3:30 pm on Saturdays). There are 10 kilometres of tracks and paths for leisurely rides across farmland and open country. You will need a riding hat.

Sailing Club:
Our Young Sailors’ Course leads to the stage 1 sailing qualification. You’ll learn how to sail safely and the course also covers the sailing theory and first aid. Have fun with other course members afterwards in the clubroom. There are 10 weekly two-hour lessons (Tuesdays 6 pm—8 pm).

Diving Centre:
Our experienced instructors offer one-month courses in deep-sea diving for beginners. There are two evening lessons a week, in which you learn to breathe underwater and use the equipment safely. You only need a swimming costume and a towel. Reduced rates for couples.

Medical Center:
The staff of the Medical Center aim to provide convenient and comprehensive medical care to students and staff of the university. The center is well equipped and the staff here are trained to deal with a broad range of medical problems. Both female and male doctors as well as nursing staff are available for consultation. Also, all kinds of medicines are sold here and are cheaper for students than other drugstores.

Watersports Club:
We use a two-kilometre length of river for speedboat racing, and water-skiing. A beginner’s course consists of ten 20-minute lessons. You will learn to handle boats safely and confidently, but must be able to swim. The club is in a convenient central position and is open daily from 9 am to 4 pm, with lessons all through the day.
