My husband and I were having a walk the other night. Suddenly, I noticed lots of garbage lying on all sides of the road. In the past when batteries in the electrical equipments in my house ran out, I would just put them in the garbage bag. Today it’s common to see many students with colored wires hang from their ears wherever they go. While some people argue that it’s not proper behavior, I personally hold the view of that it’s acceptable and beneficial. First, listening to music can be entertaining and prevent them from surrounding noises. Second, it’s great way of making full use of our spare time to practicing improving our listening skills. After all, we have a difficulty listening test in our English examination. And last and not least, we can avoid being interrupt. There is a famous song called Never Say Never, which is one of my favorite song. The lyrics tell people no matter what happens, never give it up. And then you will be successful. I keep believe those words. But in last week, I watch a TV show in which the host asked people learn to give up sometimes. He explained that he met a boy who were not good at maths but extreme skilled in drawing. Therefore, he suggested the boy gives up the major and learn drawing. And now, the boy is the famous painter. It proves that giving up is not always a bad thing, because your potential is which really gives you the chance to succeed.
