China successfully exploded its first atomic bomb on Oct 16,1964,     1    (shock) the rest of the world. It was followed by the successful    2    (explode) of a hydrogen (氢) bomb in 1967. Later, a satellite with a recording of the tune of Dong Fang Hong declared to the world that China    3    (master) satellite technology.

It was the bombs and the satellite    4     enabled China to take the lead in global scientific and technological development and improve the strength of the country's national defense, commented Xinhua News Agency.
