Before I went to Yunnan to attend a teaching activity, I had wondered what music to bring into the mountains to share with the children there. Music is an universal language, that is the best way to communicate with the children there. And I was afraid that the children would be too shy not to sing a song.
However, when I arrived, I found there was nothing to worry. They were extreme energetic during my class. I choose a famous song by Jay Chou “Fragrance of Rice”, tell the children whatever happened, their family would always be there for them. They should cherish anything and try their best to overcome difficulty in their life.

Last week, we watched an excited basketball match in our school. It is between Grade 1 and Grade 2 students. During a match, the players from all teams played very hard. Grade 2 was a stronger team. However, for our surprise, Grade 1 won at last. The player jumped and hugged to celebrate their success. Just then, the players from the other team that approached and said “Congratulations!” to them. They wore smiles on faces and you couldn’t tell from their expressions that they had lost the match. We were touching by the scene and felt what important a role sport plays in daily life.

All students from our class go to an exhibition displaying China’s outstanding achievements in last month. Influencing deeply by my parents, I was eager waiting for the opportunity. On January 5th, students in our school visited Robot World, which we saw different robot. Many students in my school feel annoying that they are under great pressure. It has become a common problem in most high school in China. As it is known to all, China has large population. Almost 10 million students graduate from high school every year, expected to be admitted by universities or college. Instead, the competition among the students is fierce. We had to stand out and prove to be better than others, who means we have to work really hard. Of course, some students can’t bear the pressure but drop behind while others face the challenge bravely.

Nowadays some freshman are applying to delay their schooling for one year. They want to make a best use of the time to find jobs. On the one hand, through practice they will get to know the society worse, which will certainly help them studied with a clear aim. On the other hand, it is easier for us to find jobs after graduation because of the experience. What they do really helped them make up for the disadvantage that they lack of social experience. It is in this way which they are quite sure how to meet the society’s need. As senior students, we should take part some practically activities besides learning in school.
