It was a cold winter day. A farmer found a snake on the ground. It was almost dead. The farmer was a kind man. He picked up the snake carefully and put it inside the coat. Soon the snake began to move. It opened its mouth and bit the farmer. “Oh, you bad snake!” said the farmer, “I saved your life, but you treat me in this way. You must die.” Then he killed the snake with a knife. At last, he died, too.

There was a naughty boy in a village. He liked telling lies. One day he wanted to make fun of the farmers. So he shouted, “Wolf! Wolf! The wolf is coming!” The kind farmers were working in the field. They heard the shout and hurried to help the boy. But when they got there, the boy said, “There isn’t a wolf. I’m joking.” The farmers were angry and went back to their field. After a while, the boy shouted again, “Wolf! Wolf! The wolf is coming!” And the farmers came again. The boy laughed and laughed. They said, “You tell lies. We will not believe you.” Later a wolf really came. The boy was very scared. “Wolf! Wolf! The wolf is coming!” the boy shouted and shouted. “Help! Help!” But no one came. Finally, the wolf ate the naughty boy.

Tim was travelling around the country in his car. In the evening, he wanted to find a small hotel. At this time, he saw an old man walking along the road.
