When you go to England, you shouldn’t ask English people about their income（收入）. It’s OK to ask, “Where are you going?” in China. But you shouldn’t ask English people like that. Chinese people like asking, “Did you have dinner?” But you should be careful to ask that when you meet an English man.

In Thailand, you can’t put your hand on a child’s head. In China, touching（触摸）a child’s head means “You like the child very much.”

In Japan, when you visit a family, you should take off your shoes before you get into the house. When you eat noodles, it’s good to make a big noise. It can tell the family that the noodles are delicious.

The father said, “Boys, we won’t go on vacation this year.     16    ” And then he went out.
