The future of fashion has a new meaning now. We already have smart clothing that allows us to perform better and affect the surrounding environment. Here are the top trends reshaping the future of fashion, right now.
Air-conditioned shirt | Tired of being too hot or too cold? This new shirt will keep you feeling just right. When you’re hot, the shirt gets looser(宽松), like opening the windows to let heat out. When you’re cold, the shirt tighten up to hold warmth in. |
New self-cleaning shirt | Never do washing again with super clothes! To clean this shirt, just stand in the sun! A special outer layer soaks up(吸收)UV light from the sun. This heats it up enough to clean the shirt. You stay cool, but dirt goes away! |
New self-reparing suit | Are you sick of holes in your clothes? This new suit repairs itself! If this cloth gets a hole, just rub(摩擦)the hole quickly, the heat from the rubbing will mend the suit. Hole? What hole? |
Power assist | These pants do more than look sharp—they help the wearer stand or walk! It works with electricity. Motion sensors can tell if you’re trying to stand, or walk. Then a small computer activates(激活)the helping boards in the knees, or legs or back—wherever a little lift is needed. |

Nupur walked along the road with a sad look on her face. Tomorrow was her friend Neeta’s birthday and she did not have anything nice to wear to the party. Her father’s factory closed down and there was hardly any money left at home to buy a new dress.
Nupur decided to wear an old dress which becomes a little too short for her now. Nupur asked the tailor(裁缝)to increase the length, however she was refused because the tailor’s hands are full.
Suddenly she saw a lady’s wallet fell on the ground, while getting out of the car and walked towards the bank. Nupur ran and picked up the wallet and waited on the steps.
After a long time the lady came out. Nupur handed her the wallet that she dropped. The lady could not believe herself. She looked at the girl’s soiled clothes. “What is your name and where are you going? Can I drop you home?” The lady asked. Nupur told the lady that she was going home. She also said that the tailor refused to do so and that her father was jobless.
The lady was the owner of a boutique(精品店)that stitched(缝补)clothes for children and young adults. She promised to help Nupur stitched the dress and told Nupur to come in the evening and collect her dress.
In the evening Nupur was speechless to see her old dress look so resplendent(华丽的). The lady had used lace to increase the length of the dress. Nupur was overjoyed. The lady had also prepared a birthday gift for her friend.

All dreaming starts with sleep. When we sleep there are four stages(阶段)that we go through.
Stage One is the lightest stage of sleep. In this stage of sleep someone can be awakened by low sounds or slight touch. Stage One sleep happens through-out the night. It often reappears as a transitional state of sleep following arousal(刺激)during the night. When Stage One does reappear during sleep, it only lasts thirty seconds to one minute. Young adults spend ten to fifteen minutes a night in Stage One sleep.
Stage Two sleep may have some of the slower eye movement Stage One, but in general Stage Two sleep is free of any eye movement. Another feature of stage two is arousal. Since Stage Two is a deeper sleep than Stage One, it will take more arousal to awaken a person from this stage of sleep.
Stage Three sleep as well as Stage Four is usually referred to as a slow wave sleep, which basically means a slow frequency(频率)of brain thought. There are no visual eye movements in this stage. Again in Stage Three it takes even more arousal then Stage Two sleep, to awaken a person from this state of sleep. Most of the dreams remembered take place during stage Three Sleep.
Stage Four sleep is the deepest of sleep. This is where the body and mind gets the most rest. Brain frequencies increase slightly in Stage Four sleep. In this stage of sleep people begin their dreams. When a person is dreaming you can visually tell by the movement of the eyes. Scientist measure deep sleep by “R. E. M.” which simply means “rapid eye movement”. What they measure is the amount of time your eye moves in Stage Four sleep and also brain activity along with frequency. Once again much more arousal is needed to awaken a stage four sleeper.

Sometimes, my friend asks for all of the answers to our homework. I tell her that it wouldn’t be fair if I have her the answers, so she gets angry.
Berk
Answer
Dear Berk,
You’re right - it’s not fair to just give the answers to your friend after you’ve already done all the work.
You could also try to help her with her homework if you have time — but don’t just give her the answers. Try to help her work through the problems so she can learn how to do them herself.
Mike
Dear Berk,
I had a friend like yours in primary school and had this problem for a long time.
So, if you still want to be friends with her, try to be friendly. Tell her that getting answers from other people would only do harm to herself. People learn new things by thinking and solving problems on their own.
You should also tell her that you can help her with her studies. You can go over the lessons together, for example. Maybe she won’t get angry and will do homework by herself.
