In my opinion, every act of kindness can change the world as well as generosity, gratitude and trust.

I was parking(停车)at a hiking road when a man in the car next to mine looked out and started to ask me for help. “No ________, ”I told him. as I was willing to help anyone in ________ . It turned out that his Battery(电池)was low and no one would help jump to ________ his car!

I asked him ________ he had cables(电线).He said “yes” and in less than five ________ ,I made it work. He thanked me and asked how much he should ________ me and I looked at him in surprise and said “Not a thing.”

Five days later, tragic news spread throughout Scotland. The mighty Titanic had sunk. The unsinkable ship had sunk(下沉), taking hundreds of lives with it. The Clark family was to have been on that ship but, because the son had been bitten by a dog, they were left behind in Scotland.

When Mr. Clark heard the news, he hugged his son and thanked him for saving the family. He thanked God for saving their lives and turning what he had felt was a tragedy(灾难) into a blessing. Although we may not always understand, all things happen for a reason.
