Moonlight Middle School

We have many activities(活动) at our school. This month is October. Sports Day is in October. We have a basketball game and a volleyball game. In the middle of this month, we have an English test during the English Day. On October 19th, we have a school trip. We go to Huanshantou mountain with the teachers. On the last day of this month, there is a music festival. On that day we can enjoy beautiful songs, dances(跳舞) and piano(钢琴) music. It is really wonderful. Next month, we only have an art festival. Students often display(展示) their pictures.

Thanksgiving(感恩节) is always on Thursday. The day after it is Black Friday. It is on November 26 in 2021. It is the beginning of the holiday shopping season, and it is the busiest shopping day of the year in the U.S.A.

Black Friday is a good time to go shopping. Most shops have big sales on Black Friday. They open their doors very early in the morning. They attract(吸引) shoppers with big sales. Some items(商品) like clothes are much cheaper than usual. Shops may even lose(失去) money on these items. They hope that shoppers will buy gifts for other people when they are in the shops. Here are some items with a big discount, come and have a look in Wanda Plaza this week!

I’m Tom, an exchange student(交换生) in Canada. It’s my birthday and my Canadian mom holds a birthday party for me. We have a perfect birthday plan. We invite(邀请) Alice and many neighbors to celebrate my birthday.

At half past one in the afternoon, Alice comes to my home and buys me a small gift(礼物). At twenty to two, we go to the swimming pool and we have a lot of fun in it. There aren’t many people in the swimming pool. We swim and play water ball there, too. We throw it to each other and make it into a lot of shapes.   

At home, we play hide and seek. At about six o’clock, my Canadian parents take me to the KFC and bake a big cake in the shape of a panda. We love it so much and do not want to eat it because it is so lovely. After supper, I dance with my friends and watch a movie.   

Is this the end of my birthday? No, because my Canadian mom goes to my school with some colorful and delicious cookies cooked by herself. We share(分享) the cookies with all my classmates and Ms. Zhang and Ms. Han. And I am so happy about my birthday and it lasts for two days. Do you like my birthday?
