What will life be like in the year 2080? No one knows, but it is fun to have a guess.

Let’s make a story about you in the year 2080. Our story will be about only one day. You wake up at seven in the morning. You get dressed. Guess what the clothes are made of. Paper? Glass? Or something we don’t even know today?

The breakfast needn’t be prepared (准备). Why? The food will be ready for eating. Now you go to work, but you don’t go by car. You step onto a moving sidewalk (人行道). It takes you to a train station. How to Make Ice Cream in a Bag?

What you will need:

1 spoon of sugar, 1/2 cup of half-and-half(牛奶和奶油的混合物), 1/4 spoon of vanilla extract(香草精), ice, salt, a big bag, a small bag.

How we make it:

★First, put the sugar, half-and-half and vanilla extract into the small bag.

★Next, put three glasses of ice into the big bag.

★Then, pour about 1/2 cup of salt in the big bag.

★When it’s ready, place the small bag in the big bag. You need to shake the bag for about five minutes.

★Finally, take the small bag out. After wiping off(擦去) the salt on the bag, you can open it and enjoy your ice-cream.

You can finish all of the work in eight minutes.

American boys and girls love watching television. Some children spend six hours a day in school and four to six hours a day in front of the television set. Some even watch television for eight hours or more on Saturday.

Television is like books or films. A child can learn both bad things and good things from it. Some programs help children to understand the news, and others show people and places of other countries or of other time in history. With television, a child does not have to go to the zoo to see animals or to the airport to see a plane. Boys and girls can see a play, a concert or a game at home.

Television brings many places and events(事件) into our homes. Some programs show crime(犯罪活动) and other things that are bad for children, so parents sometimes help them to find other interesting things to do.

Best Friends Are Forever
