Many of the students in my class join the Art Club. We learn many things in the club. Jennifer likes playing the guitar very much, so she learns to play the guitar. Now she can play three pieces of music. Cindy likes dancing. She learns the Chinese dance every afternoon after class. Now she can dance well. Victor likes playing chess. He often plays chess with Mike in the club. He often beats(打败) Mike at chess. Michelle likes painting. She paints one picture a week. Now she has 16 pictures.

Some of the pictures are very good. We each can do what we like in the club, so we all like the club.

What is a Chinatown? Is it a town in China? Of course not! It is in a foreign(外国的) country. It is a place where many overseas(海外的) Chinese live together.

There are lots of Chinatowns in America. The biggest one is in New York. There are about 150,000 people in it. It is the home of Chinese New Yorkers. And it is also a good place to go.

Shopping in Chinatown is fun. You can find lots of things there. Most of them are made in China. Mott Street is the best place to shop because the things there are very cheap.

Chinatown has more than 200 restaurants. You can enjoy traditional (传统的) Chinese food there. New Silver Palace Restaurant is one of the best restaurants. Why don't you have breakfast with a cup of green tea in it? You can eat some Shanghai food in Evergreen Restaurant.

Living in Chinatown is comfortable. You can find hospitals, schools, banks, libraries and supermarkets in it. In some schools, students must study Chinese. Many overseas Chinese send their children to these schools. They want their children to learn more about China and its culture(文化).

On weekends,Tom is very busy. On Saturday morning, He cleans his room. That makes his mother very happy. In the afternoon, he does his math homework. It is not difficult, so it only takes（花费） him one hour to finish the homework. And in the evening, he goes to see his aunt with his parents. They have a big dinner there. The next morning, he goes to swim after getting up. After lunch he goes to the school playground and play football. That exercise（锻炼） makes him in a good health. On Sunday evening, he watches TV for an hour at home and then put books in his schoolbag for the next day.

Hello, everyone! My name is Guo Kai. I’m eleven. I study in a middle school in Shanghai. I have two good friends, Bob and Frank. They are from America. Bob is twelve and Frank is thirteen.

We all like sports. Bob likes volleyball (排球) and he is in the school volleyball team. He has ten volleyballs. Frank likes tennis. He is a member of the Tennis Club. He goes to the club four times(次) a week. He has twenty tennis balls and five tennis rackets (拍子). Basketball is my favorite sport. I am in the school basketball team. I play basketball for an hour every day. I have six basketballs.

We three also like playing football. We always play football at weekends. David Beckham is our favorite football player and we often watch football games on TV.
