Hello! My name is Jane. Dora, Joan, May and Laura are my classmates. They’re my good friends, too. We are all in Class 4, Grade 8 at No. 1 Middle School.

At school, we have lots of subjects: Chinese, English, maths, history, geography, physics, PE, art and music. But we like different subjects. Maths and physics are Dora’s favourite school subjects. Joan loves Chinese and history. They are her favorites. She learns much about Chinese history. May’s favourite subjects are art, PE and music. Of all the subjects, Laura likes English best. Her English is the best in our class. She often helps me with my English. As for me, my favourite subject is PE.

However, we all like playing sports. It’s our great hobby (爱好). We do our homework together after school. And then we do sports in the gym. On weekends we go shopping or watch movies. Sometimes we chat online.
