Steamed stuffed buns（包子）are really popular in China. People usually eat buns with porridge for breakfast. Do you want to know how I make my favorite steamed stuffed buns?

Ingredients:

Some flour（面粉）, yeast（酵母）, sugar, cabbages, carrots, beef and the seasoning you like. Process（制作过程）:

First, mix two teaspoons of yeast and sugar in a small bowl. Pour some warm water into the mix. Then wait for ten minutes.

Next, slowly pour the yeast and sugar mix into the flour. Stir（搅拌）quickly to make the flour together and stop until it becomes a smooth（光滑的）ball. This is your yeast dough（面团）. Add more warm water if necessary to make sure your dough is really soft（柔软）.

Then, wash a cabbage and three carrots. Cut up the vegetables and beef.

After that, put all the meat and vegetable pieces into a big bowl. Add the seasoning you like. For seasoning, I usually add a spoon of salt, a little sugar and some pepper. Now mix everything together.

Next, cut the big dough into small pieces. Then fill in the mix and seal（封口）them carefully.

Finally, prepare a pot of water to steam（蒸）the buns for about thirty minutes.

Is that all? No! One more thing, when it's finished, let the steamed stuffed buns in the pot and wait about five minutes before eating them.
