	Fly up High with the Wind told the story of “Flight Pioneer” Wan Hoo, a scholar（学者）of the Ming Dynasty. He was lost in the “dream of flight”. Space flight is a shared dream of all humans. Follow the performance Adventures of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2022 to feel the romance of this unique festival.
	In this song Our Souls Together Heavenward Fly from the performance, children from different countries and races（种族）sang a song as one, expressed reunion and enjoyed the moon together.

I was 15 months old, a happy carefree kid, until the day I fell. It was a bad fall. A piece of glass cut my eye badly. From then on, my injured sightless（失明的）, cloudy gray eye lived on with me. Sometimes people asked me unpleasant questions. Whenever kids played games, I was always the “monster（怪物）”. I was always imagining that everyone looked down on me.

Yet Mom would say to me, “Hold your head up high and face the world.” I began to depend on that saying. As a child, I thought Mom meant, “Be careful or you will fall down or knock into something because you are not looking.”

A new machine has been produced in Watergen in Israel. The machine is called GENNY which can create clean water out of air. It is small enough to be used in a home or an office, but can create up to 30 liters of water a day.

The water that GENNY produces is not only clean enough to drink, but also cleaner than common water. GENNY takes air in and passes it through a filter（过滤器）to clean up something dirty. The filter is powerful enough to work even in areas with high air pollution. The air then passes through a space where it is heated, cooled and changed into water vapor（水蒸汽）. The water is passed through several more filters, and minerals（矿物质）are added to make it healthier and better-tasting. When the water is ready for people to drink, GENNY sends out clean air, which is healthier for people to breathe.

Watergen tries hard to provide drinking water for people who do not have safe drinking water at home. Last year, it gave away lots of products to people in Brazil, Vietnam, etc. It also makes great efforts to help the environment by asking people to use as few plastic bottles as possible. People can put the water from GENNY into reusable bottles to cut down the use of plastic bottles.

Watergen’s technology is sure to help many people around the world. It helps take care of our planet.

Known as the birthplace of kites, Weifang in Shandong province has a long history of making kites. 2,000 years ago, kites were often used by the military (军事). In Ming Dynasty, kites started to be popular among ordinary people as entertainment. Made from bamboo and featuring traditional Chinese paintings, Weifang kite-making was included in the national-level intangible cultural heritage (非物质文化遗产) lists in 2006. Initiated in 1984, the International Kite Festival has been held in Weifang every year.

Yang Hongwei, 56, is an inheritor (传承人) of the Weifang kite-making skill. Born into a kite-making family, Yang often saw kites with bright colors and different shapes in her grandfather’s workshop. When she was six, she started to learn the skills from her grandfather. After practicing it for 10 years, she started her own shop in 1992.

“Many places around the world have a tradition of flying kites,” Yang said. “But I think the culture behind our kites is unique (独特的).” On Yang’s kites, people can see not only common shapes like butterflies, but also some paintings telling Chinese stories. For example, she once made a kite showing a phoenix head lined with pictures of 50 famous Chinese women on each side. The idea was very cool. Yang said that each woman has different characteristics in look, clothes and makeup style. To create their pictures, she spent much time checking historical records. “It takes much time,” Yang added, “but when I explain the stories on the kites to foreign customers, I feel really proud.”

In her spare time, she also travels to different countries like Germany, Australia, and the US to tell people about Chinese stories seen on kites and the traditional ways of making kites.

“I’m an inheritor of the culture. It is also an important job of mine to spread the heritage around the world and onto the next generation,” she said.

Lu Yuxin is 13 years old and she is a middle school student from Beijing. She loves paper cutting and her classmates say she is born with the     36     （能力）to cut.
