The year is 2035 and robots are just as common as mobile phones. People depend on (依靠) them to do lots of things, for example, babysitting, cooking, doing chores and taking their dogs for a walk. Robots have to obey (听从) humans’ orders, because their designers make them do so. A police officer called Spooner hates robots. He doesn’t think humans can get on well with their robots at all! But the scientist Susan has different opinions. Susan works on robots’ mind and she thinks one day robots will become more powerful (强大的) than humans and help humans to make progress (进步).
When Spooner and Susan work together, they find that something is wrong with the world’s robots. A few robots have their own thoughts and they’re trying to get out of humans’ control (控制)! Of course these robots’ dream doesn’t come true. Humans work hard to control their robots again and they succeed at last.

There are many places to see lovely pandas in China. But where is the best place to go for a special trip? When is the best time to go?
The best place to see and hug pandas is in Chengdu. Visitors can also take part in volunteer (志愿者) to take care of pandas. If you just want to see pandas, we advise you to go to Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Base (基地). You can see pandas at different ages, from the oldest to the newborns. This base is huge but usually crowded. If you want to experience more, consider (考虑) a one-day volunteer program at Dujiangyan Panda Base, or longer programs in Wolong Panda Center and Ya’an Bifengxia Panda Base.
Pandas don’t hibernate, so you can visit them in all four seasons. Spring and autumn are the best times to see pandas when they are the most active and temperatures are the most comfortable. But if you visit between August and November, you will probably see lovely panda babies. Pandas spend almost half their days sleeping. So if you want to see them walking or climbing, it’s important to know their rest time. They usually sleep around noon, any time from around 10:00 am to around 2:00 pm. We suggest you get to a panda base as early as possible (8:00 to 10:00 am is the best), because it is less-crowded and the pandas are at their most active.
