Xia Ping is a 72-year-old grandma in Shanghai. She does sports in a gym (健身房) every day.

The gym is only for people above (超过) 55 years old. The price is good. It only costs 99 yuan a month. About half (一半) of them are from 65 to 75 years old.

Old people can do sports and talk with their friends in the gym. All exercise devices (健身设备) there are easy to use. “I know of them very well,” Xia says. She knows how to use all of them. She is in the gym for about two hours every day. It’s easy for her to do sports with no help now. She thinks it’s great fun.

Xia likes going to the gym, because she knows it’s good for her health. And as an English teacher, Xia meets some old teachers like her there. They are her good friends now. Xia is happy to be with them in the gym.
