Dear Mark,

I went to Kings Canyon last weekend with my grandparents. We drove there early on Saturday morning and the car was from my sister. It’s a comfortable car with seven seats. We stayed there until Sunday evening.

Kings Canyon is really wonderful. It’s one of the oldest parks in America. It’s not as famous as Yellowstone or Yosemite, but it’s just as nice and it’s not crowded. There are a lot of beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers.

On the morning of the first day, I drove around the park with my grandparents. We saw a forest of redwood (红杉) trees. They’re a lot bigger than I thought. At about 10:30 a. m we began to go down the mountain. We walked slowly and stopped a lot along the way to see the beautiful views.
