In the morning, we went camping along a ________ in Green Natural Park. We were happy because it was a sunny day. We were expecting an enjoyable two-day holiday. On the way, we kept singing and making jokes.

However, in the afternoon, when we finished our picnic at one o’clock, it was dark and windy. Soon, there was a ________ . Unluckily, none of us brought an umbrella. We ran about but we could find no place to hide.

In China, many people are leaving the countryside to find jobs in the cities, because the countryside is much poorer than the city, and often there isn’t much work there. Services such as hospital and transport are usually much better in the city than in the countryside. They hope that their lives will improve when they move to the city.

But in the big cities of Europe like London or Paris, people are moving out of the city. These rich families want to live a quieter life. They are tired of the noise and the dirt of the city, and they are tired of the crowded streets, crowded trains and buses. They don’t want to live in the cities any more. They want a house with a garden in the countryside, and breathe the fresh air there.

So they move out of the cities. Some don’t go very far, just a little way out of the city, to the towns near the cities, other people move to the real countryside with sheep, cows and green fields. There, they start new lives and try to make new friends.

Not all those who move from the city to the countryside are happy. After two or three years, many people who have done this feel that it was a big mistake. They don’t make so much money and there isn’t much work to do. People in the countryside are very different and aren’t always very friendly.

As a result, quite a lot of people who have moved to the countryside move back to the city. “It’s wonderful to see crowds in the streets and cinema lights.” they say.

If English is not your first language, you probably would like to learn English after you read this article. English is just like other languages. The earlier you learn the language, the better is your ability（能力）to learn it and to pronounce the words correctly.

Learn English from books! There are many English books. You can read and learn how to put words together to make sentences. If you just start to learn English, you also need an English-your native（本族的）language dictionary and if you understand most English words, you may want to get an English-English dictionary instead.

You can learn English online as well. There are many websites（网站）teaching English and having online dictionaries and books. Some websites also come with audio（音频）, so you can hear the pronunciation of the words or sentences.

Practice makes perfect! Talk to other English-speaking people and listen carefully when some else speaks in English（best to hear it from a native English speaker to get the right pronunciation）.

You can learn English from TV as well. If you just start to learn the language, try to watch toddler（幼儿）or kid channels to learn the language.
