There were two men who lived next to each other. One of them was a teacher and the other was an insurance agent (保险代理人). Both of them had planted many different plants in their gardens. The teacher seldom watered his plants and didn’t pay a lot of attention to them. But his neighbor was very careful with his plants and watered them often.

There are 56 ethnic (民族的) groups in China, including the Han people who make up 90% of the total population. Each group has its own culture and traditions. Some ethnic groups speak their own languages and have their own styles of dress, too.
Mongolians live in northern China. They are known for traveling on horses and camels. They eat a lot of meat and drink salty tea. Mongolians have many skills, especially they are very good at hunting and horse racing.
