A few teenagers are talking about something on WeChat (微信).

Tony: I was interested in science when I was little. With science, the world will get better and better. So I want to become a scientist when I grow up. It may be a boring job, but I really want to do something for the world. And I’ll study science harder to make my dream come true.

Gina: When I’m free, I always like reading some great books. It’s interesting and relaxing. At the same time, I enjoy writing. So I think I’ll be a writer in the future. I’d like to write good stories for people. I know it’s not easy to be a writer, but I’ll keep practising writing.

Paul: Different from many young people, I’m going to be a cook. Some of my friends think it sounds kind of funny, but it’s my dream! If I become a cook, I’ll make different kinds of healthy and delicious food for people. For my dream, I’ll go to a cooking school in the future.

Rose: Do you ever want to be a pilot? I do! It seems very difficult for a girl, but I want to have a try. A pilot can fly a plane in the sky and even drive a spaceship into space. It’s an exciting job. To make it, I’ll have to get better grades by working hard and exercise more to be healthy enough.

Some adults think teenagers must be happy every day just because teenagers don’t need to go to work. This idea is     56     wrong. Each teenager has his own problems.

First, they may be afraid they don’t have any friends. For them, friends are very important in life. Some of them     57     to listen to their parents because they think that their parents don’t understand them and that their parents get     58     easily. However, they may follow their friends’     59    . Some may even think they can only     60     their friends.

Second, they care about their looks. They may worry they aren’t tall enough. They may be laughed at by somebody     61     if they don’t look pretty or handsome. For some girls, acne (青春痘) can sometimes make them     62    .

Third, they don’t know how to communicate (交流) with their parents. Most teenagers don’t think they have     63     parents because their parents’ ideas are always different from theirs. Sometimes they have much pressure (压力) because their parents are always asking them to study hard.     64     their parents don’t let them hang out with their friends, they will also become unhappy. Actually, it is     65     for parents to care about their children in these ways, because they just hope their children can have a great future.
