Every year there are some interesting and fun things for students in our school. These events (大型活动) are the school trip, the basketball game, the book sale, the art festival and the School Day.

The school trip is on the third day of March. Students can go on a trip with their classmates. The basketball game is on May 6th. I think it’s boring. I don’t play basketball. But many students in our school like it. On the twenty-first of September, we have a book sale. Students and teachers sell their books at very good prices there. How much is a book? It’s only one dollar! The art festival is on October 12th. Some students draw (画) great pictures at the festival. Some students take their best pictures to the festival. The School Day is the most important (最重要的) day. It’s on December 12th. On that day, all the students and teachers are in red clothes. Parents can come to school with their daughters or sons. We can eat nice food, too. That’s great. We are very happy.

Jack is 12 years old. He is a student.     12     He likes hamburgers and chocolate (巧克力). He doesn’t want to eat vegetables and fruit. His mother often says to him, “Jack, you are too heavy. It’s not healthy,” But Jack says, “I’m fine, Mom. I want to eat my favorite hamburgers and chocolate every day.”

Today is Sunday. Jack gets up at seven o’clock in the morning.     13     He has a piece of bread and a hamburger. Jack goes shopping with his mother at 9:00 in the morning. He wants to buy new clothes, but he is not happy in the shop. Why? He finds a nice T-shirt. It’s a big size T-shirt.     14     It doesn’t fit (适合) him. When he gets home, Jack says to his parents, “I don’t want to be fat! And I want to be healthy.”     15     His mother asks him to eat healthy food. Jack thinks his parents are right. He says that he will (将要) do that.

Hello, I’m Liu Yang. I was born in October, 1978 in Henan. I am an astronaut (宇航员) now. I am     16     Chinese woman to go to space (太空). Now I am in the space station (太空站) with Chen Dong and Cai Xuzhe. We need to live here for six     17    .

It’s not easy for     18     to live in space. Every day, I get up early and have breakfast. It is     19     to eat in space. All things float (漂浮) here! After breakfast, I go to work. I     20     the planets (行星) and I can know more about space.
