My name is Dave. I’m from the UK and now I’m in China with my parents.

In the UK, students like going to the fast food restaurants (餐馆) with their friends. They can eat hamburgers and ice-cream there. Their favorite food is ice-cream. But fast food isn’t good for students’ health. For me, I don’t like fast food because I don’t want to be fat.

Students’ eating habits in China are not the same. I love China and I love Chinese food. When I come to China, I eat a lot of vegetables and fruit. I think they are healthy food. In the morning, I eat baozi, two eggs and an apple. For lunch I have rice with chicken and tomatoes. In the evening, I eat vegetable salad, carrots and a banana. And I have milk, too.

I think boys and girls should have good eating habits.

Jenny’s mother is a very nice woman. She likes hamburgers, but she doesn’t buy any because they aren’t very healthy. She likes going shopping (购物). She has 11 sweaters and 30 pairs of shoes.

Daming’s grandparents have some healthy habits. Every day they do some sports near their home. T-shirts are their favorite clothes.

Tony’s sister loves music, so she likes to go to concerts (音乐会) with her friends on Sundays. The music there is relaxing for her.

Lingling’s aunt and uncle like soccer, but they don’t go to soccer games. They watch soccer on TV àt weekends. They always like watching AC Milan, but they sometimes (有时) watch Manchester United. They like playing ping-pong, too. They play ping-pong every night.

What do you usually do in your free time? Play sports? Watch TV? How about reading books? A famous person (名人) says, “Knowledge (知识) is power (力量) . And the knowledge is in the books.” Books are helpful in our life. Reading books is good for us. It can help us to be good at our lessons (功课) . Also, it can help us to know the world (世界) . All the great men (人) like reading, like Zhou Enlai and Lu Xun.

Books are treasure and we must love them. You can ask your parents or teachers about the books to read. Be sure (确保) you are interested in them. There are many different kinds (各种各样的) of books. I like reading history books because it’s interesting and I can learn so much from it.

③Then he wants to buy a pair of trousers for his son. The blue trousers are 170 yuan. The green trousers are 100 yuan for one pair. His son likes blue very much. So Mr. Zhou buys the blue trousers.

④Now Mr. Zhou needs to pay (支付) for these things. Mr. Zhou takes his phone out and scans a QR code (扫描二维码). After that, he goes home with those things.
