I have three children and they all play a great part in sharing chores. A few months ago, a friend of mine saw the housework list in my home for _______ first time. Then she talked with my kids.

Sarah Park, a senior high student from America, has her special way to do with the problems.

Park has known about the influence of music on the brain for long. She has been playing the violin since she was four. She deeply understands how good music is for people. Now, Lifestance, an American mental treatment technology company, is working with Park to make a new device, Spark Care+.

Spark Care+ is a smart wristband (手环) with sensors that can record mental health data, such as heart rate and blood pressure. The AI system analyzes the data and plays the right music to cheer users up. Researchers from Lifestance show that music can excite the brain’s reward system, so our brains will give out dopamine (多巴胺) and create happy feelings. What’s more, water drinking and the records of sleeping time are also important elements of checking one’s mental health. Spark Care+ sends daily report to show the latest state of health.

Besides being one of the designers for the smart wristband, Park is also a prize-winning violinist. In the future, she hopes to be a creator in the part of medical technology. She gave a piece of advice to other teenagers, “Dream big, stay active and energetic, anything will be possible.”
