Everyone in our school loves sports. Every morning after we get up, we run. We have P．E. classes on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. After school, we often have ball games. The most popular sport is basketball. The boys love playing it and many of the girls like it, too. And many students also like football very much and in every class there are a lot of football fans. Volleyball is often played when the weather is fine. We have school teams(队) in basketball, football and volleyball. We often have games with other schools. When there is a game, many of us often go to watch it.

In P．E. classes, we often run and jump, and sometimes we play ping­pong. We have tests every term.

And there is Sports Day in October every year.   Sports help us to keep healthy and happy.

Emily is a housewife. She doesn't go to work. Every day, she takes her two children from home to school, or from school to home. She thinks she has to do the housework all day, so she stops the cable(有线电视). But she thinks it's fun to watch TV when she is free.

Her favorite TV show is The Life Laundry. It's very interesting. It comes on Saturday morning. It's about some common(普通的) people. In the TV show, these people like to take everything out of the house, so they can see how many things they have. They will have a look at everything and decide whether(是否) to keep(保存) it or sell it. That's funny, right? When they sell some things they don't use, the house will be more beautiful with a new coat of paint. For sure, everyone is happy to see their clean and cool home.

Antiques Roadshow is after The Life Laundry. It's really different and interesting. The Life Laundry wants you to clean out your things, but Antiques Roadshow asks you to keep everything.

Matt has a lot of stamps(邮票). They're from many countries. Some are from America and China; some are from England and France. On his birthday, can you guess what gifts(礼物) he likes to have? That's for sure－stamps.

Matt's favorite stamps come from France. He had almost every stamp from 1954 to 2003. He only needs one. That was a 1974 special edition(版). It is really difficult to find.

He looks for it everywhere. He asks his friends and family to help him. But nobody can find that stamp. It makes him very unhappy.

“Be happy, please！” his father says to him. “You can find it one day.”

“I hope so，” Matt says.

Matt also likes writing. He has a pen friend called   Jenny in France and writes to her every month. When Jenny has new stamps, she often sends them to Matt. Sometimes, his mother gives him stamps. One day, Matt's mother gives him a big   green stamp. It looks old. When Matt sees it, he is really surprised with big eyes. It is the 1974 special edition stamp. Matt is so happy!     He tells his sister, his mother and his father.

“You see，” his father says,   “you do find your stamp. So, it's good to have two things in life.”

“What are they？” Matt asks.

“Friends and patience(耐心)，” the father answers.

Betty is a student at No.2 Middle School. She usually gets up at six in the morning. She's always in a pair of     31    (蓝色的) shoes.
