During a singing contest held by China Central Television, an ancient poem called "Moss"(苔) has become popular over the night. It was written by Yuan Mei, famous poet（诗人）; more than 300 years ago. People have told stories about Robin Hood for over 700 years. Nobody knows if he was a real person or an invented character. In the legends, Robin was very smart and humorous, he helped strangers, and later his kindness paid off.

In the story, Robin Hood was just a young man, who was good at archery(射箭术). One day he was walking through Sherwood Forest, a royal hunting forest near Nottingham in England. Robin became a legendary outlaw, and soon the leader of one hundred outlaws, known as his "Merry Men".

Robin and his "Merry Men" always looked for rich people and asked them to their camp in Sherwood Forest. When they arrived, Robin gave them a good meal and played music for them. Then he took their gold away to help the poor. Robin became most famous for "robbing from the rich and giving to the poor."

The Sheriff of Nottingham was Robin's greatest enemy. He was cruel and treated the poor badly. It was his job to keep the woods safe and to make sure that nobody stole the king's deer. He hated Robin because Robin was an outlaw. But most of all, he hated Robin because everyone else loved him. The Sheriff of Nottingham kept trying to catch Robin Hood and his "Merry Men", but never succeeded.

Loneliness, a natural feeling, is not something most people want to experience. When you feel lonely because of missing a loved one or a place, or preparing for a time spent away from your friends and family, here are some ways for you to avoid it.             

Focus on your health

Studies have shown that poor sleep, lack of physical activity and unhealthy food can let you feel tired and sad, causing the feeling of loneliness. Try to get eight hours of sleep every night, try to take part in at least 30 minutes of physical activity, and don’t eat junk food. Eating more fruits and vegetables will also help.

Bring an old hobby back to life

It’s much more difficult to feel lonely if you’re actively enjoying an activity, especially one that you are good at. If you’ve got a hobby that you love, try to spare time for your hobby even if you are busy, such as reading, playing a sport, cooking, painting...

Avoid staying at home all day long

Spending your time in nature will probably improve your feelings and help you get over loneliness. Sunshine makes you feel happier and less focused on your loneliness. You can go hiking, go boating or go on a bike ride if you are not interested in just walking around. You may go for a coffee with your friends or even make big plans so that you have events to look forward to.

Qi Xinghua（齐兴华）is a street artist. He describes himself as “China’s first 3-D artist”. He uses his skills to turn walls in Chinese cities into amazing works of art.

Qi started painting 3D street art in 2010. He is most famous for his work Lions Gate Gorge（《狮门峡谷》）, the world’s largest 3-D floor painting. Its 3-D effect is so strong that some people who stand on the painting even feel dizzy.

But most of Qi’s street art does not last long. He faces many difficulties. Sometimes, his paintings are covered by advertisements; other times, his work is not allowed by the local government because painting on public walls is not accepted. Once he painted a crocodile on a broken red-brick wall in Beijing. He spent one night making the wall more beautiful. “I hope to show that what’s broken can also be made interesting. A city needs its tattoos（文身）”, said Qi.

But a few days later, the crocodile was gone.

More time is needed before street art is accepted all over China. But right now, Qi does not want to give up his street art activities and he is hopeful about the future.
