How to Make an Ice-cream in a Bag

What You will need:

1 spoon of sugar,1/2 cup of half-and-half (牛奶和奶油的混合物), 1/4 spoon of vanilla extract (香草精), ice, salt, a big bag, a small bag.

How we make it:

First, put the sugar, half-and-half and vanilla extract into the small bag.

Next, put three glasses of ice into the big bag.

Then, pour about 1/2 cup of salt in the big bag.

When it's ready, place the small bag in the big bag and seal tightly (系紧) . You need to shake the bag for about five minutes.

Finally, take the small bag out. After wiping off (擦去) the salt on the bag, you can open it and enjoy your ice-cream.

You can finish all of the work in less than ten minutes.

Tom was a fat boy when he was ten. He liked watching TV very much. He watched TV at least 5 hours every day. Wherever (无论哪里) he went, he would be late.

One day, he found a pair of special glasses in his post-box (邮箱). He also found a message saying, “With these you can see time.”

The boy decided to have a try. He put the glasses on, looked at his brother, a tall and thin boy, and saw a big box of flowers on top of his head. And it wasn't just his brother. Chocolate is one of the most popular foods in the world. Many people choose it as a birthday gift. When a child gets a box of chocolate as a gift, he may feel excited. It is popular among people, especially among children.

Chocolate tastes nice. People eat chocolate candy, chocolate cake, and chocolate cookies. They also drink hot chocolate.

Chocolate is made from cocoa beans(可可豆). Here are some interesting things about cocoa beans.

In the past, the Mayas(玛雅人) and the Aztecs(阿兹特克人) used cocoa beans as money because they were small, easy to carry, and not easy to find. A turkey cost ninety cocoa beans and a small rabbit cost thirty cocoa beans. They also cooked the beans and mixed them with water. Sometimes they added corn(玉米) or hot pepper(胡椒粉). They did not add sugar. The drink was very expensive. Only rich people could afford it.

Little Tom likes cartoons very much. When the cartoons begin on TV, he does nothing until they're over. Sometimes he'd rather (宁可) wait for a long time and go to bed late. In the morning his mother has to wake him up, or he'll be late for school.

Yesterday Tom heard there would be an interesting cartoon today. This morning, as soon as (一……就) he got up, he turned on the television, but he didn't see the program on it.
