A lot of people play sports, but very few people become sports professionals. If sports aren’t going to be your future, then why should you play them? Why should you train every day? Why should you work hard and feel sore the next day? Wouldn’t it be better to forget sports and only pay attention to your lessons?
There are actually a lot of good reasons to play sports. First of all, sports are a great way to exercise. Exercising keeps you healthy and strong. It also helps you stay in a good state. When you exercise, your body produces endorphins(内啡肽). Endorphins give you more energy and make you feel happier.
Sports are important for everyone, but they are especially important for young people. They teach young people about winning and losing. Also, they teach young people how to communicate and work as a team. For example, when you play football, you must learn how to communicate with your teammates and work together. Sports teach young people to respect their coaches, teammates, and people they fight against as well.
Many reports say that sports help young people stay out of trouble. If a young person plays sports, he or she is less likely to have problems. This is because sports teach people about rules. They also help people know that if they work hard, they might succeed.
Another good way of sports is that they make people leave their houses. These days, a lot of people spend too much time watching television and playing video games. When you play sports, you go outside and exercise in the sun. You take in fresh air. All of these things are important.
You’re probably not going to become a sports professional, but that doesn’t matter. Sports will help you become a better and happier person. Sports will help you make friends and stay healthy. Here is another good reason to play sports: Sports are fun.

The first Laughter Club was started in Mumbai, India, in 1995 by Dr. Madan Kataria. "Young children laugh about 300 times a day. Adults laugh between 7 and 15 times a day," says Dr. Kataria. "Everyone is naturally good at laughing-it's the language. We want people to feel happy with their lives." There are now more than 500 Laughter Clubs in India and over 1,300 worldwide.
Many doctors are also interested in the effects (效果) of laughter on our health. According to a 5-year study at the UCLA School of Medicine in California, with laughing there is less stress in the body. Laughter improves our health against illness by about 40%.
So, what happens at a Laughter Club? I went along to my nearest club in South London to find out. I was quite nervous at the beginning of the class, to be honest. I wasn't interested in laughing with a group of strangers, and I was worried about looking stupid. Our laughter teacher told us to clap our hands and say "ho ho ho, ha ha ha," while looking at each other. However, our bodies can't tell the difference between fake laughter and real laughter, so they still produce the same healthy effects.
Surprisingly, it works! After ten minutes, everybody in the room was laughing for real and some people just couldn't stop! At the end of the class, I was surprised by how relaxed and comfortable I felt. So if you're under stress, then start laughing. You might be very pleased with the results!

Confidence is very important in daily life. It can help you to develop a healthy attitude. But how to be confident? Here are some suggestions.
Speak loudly. When you are not confident, you can’t do well what you want to do. You speak in a voice so low that other people can hardly hear you. Try to speak loudly enough so that people can hear you clearly.
Play sports. Physical exercise makes you tired but completely relaxed.
Encourage yourself. Write down a list of things you did during the day to see how many things you have done well. Did you finish your homework? Did you tell a joke that made everybody laugh?
Get rid of fear. Fear comes along with failure. But it’s easy to overcome if you know that failure is part of your life.

3-D food will be both delicious and nutritious. We can use 3-D printers(打印机)to print some basic materials. And we can go further. Scientists believe that we just need to turn on a printer in the kitchen and then we can enjoy our favourite food whenever we like.
5G network will allow many more people to get information. Big companies like China Mobile and China Unicom will start to offer 5G. It is said that promises download speeds 10 to 20 times faster than 4G. For example, we can download a film within just 1 second. But with a 4G network, it takes a few minutes. There will be much bandwidth(带宽)and we can get unlimited(无限的)information.
Underwater cities will provide more space. The earth is becoming more and more crowded. We may turn to underwater homes, which will be built as low as 15 kilometers below the sea. And the sea water can be used to provide power for the homes.
Space tour is a piece of cake. For us common people on the earth, the dream of travelling around space will come true. In the coming years, spacecrafts will be as popular as buses, trains and planes. We can leave our home and enter space to take an adventure. And even we will get used to living there.
A robot will be a part of life. Robots can do many of the same things as we humans do like driving cars. But they will be used in other areas as well. They will be able to think. They can tell the difference between right and wrong.

VR Classes Grab Kids
It happened in a New York classroom. Sixteen-year-old Taylor Engler came face to face with a cow. But it was all in her head.
She was trying out a virtual reality(VR,虚拟现实)headset(头戴式眼罩). It took Berkeley Carroll School junior students to a farm. The farm was 400 kilometers away.
Students across the US are taking VR “trips”. They are swimming in the deep sea. They are watching medical operations. They are even “walking” through the human body. Teachers say this helps students understand their learning material and improve their grades.
“It grabs the students right away,” Colin Jones, a science teacher from Plainview Old Bethpage Central School District, told AP news. He uses a VR system called z-Space to cut up cells(细胞). “It’s something that can be done in 40 minutes.” he said. “But it could take even a week when you’re doing a lab(实验室操作).”
“It’s different than watching video because you can have more than one perspective (视角). You can actually move,” Taylor said during her “trip” on the farm.
According to neuroscientist(神经学家)Richard Lamb, VR can give people experiences that are similar to the real world. Our bodies even react(反应)the same to VR as they do to real-life situations. “Heart rate(心率), brain activity, breathing, everything,” he said.
But there are not many classrooms that can use this technology. VR systems are very expensive. Experts say they will try their best to help more students to use it in the future, especially for doing science experiments (实验) that could be dangerous to do in real life.
