Han Qian has just finished his work as a volunteer in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics successfully. He volunteered as a guide in Beijing Summer Olympics in 2008, too. But this time he was not only a common volunteer, but the manager of the Volunteer Department.

“Beijing has made history as the first city in the world to hold both the Summer and Winter Olympics. It’s really my     1     (proud) to take part in both,” said Han,“it’s     2     (complete) different     3     being a volunteer and being the organizer, especially when we’re facing many new challenges.” COVID-19 requires volunteers     4     (give) up more time for this job. As around 90 percent of the volunteers are university students, this could also get in the way     5     their schoolwork. So, Han’s team has worked together to support the students.
