In recent years, different airlines around the world have started to allow nervous passengers to take animals with them on their flights(航班). To be able to do this, the passenger must have a letter from his or her doctor showing that the animal will provide emotional (情感的) support. The animal is then referred to as an emotional support animal.
When emotional support animals were first allowed, people usually brought either their pet cat or dog. However, more recently, airlines have not only seen an increase in the number of people bringing an emotional support animal, but also an increase in the different kinds of animals being brought on board. There have been reports of people bringing a turkey or a rabbit.
Passengers who wish to take an emotional support animal with them on a flight first need to register(登记)with the airline. Also, they need to pay some money. After this has been done, the animal gets to travel for free.
United Airlines reported that in 2016, about 43,000 emotional support animals were taken on their flights. In 2017, it was about 76,000. Delta, another American airline, said that it now carries about 250,000 emotional support animals per year!
Do you think passengers should be allowed to bring emotional support animals on their flights? Should emotional support animals be limited(限制)to just cats and dogs? What are your opinions?

I had a dream―a strange dream that has helped me to understand Eric much better.
In the dream, Eric looked angry and said, “Melissa, I have something to tell you.”
I’ve lived with Eric for more than five years. He is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I buy him fish and milk and lots of toy mice (玩具老鼠) once a week. I even bought a small house for him, because he sometimes likes to be left only by himself. I love him with all my heart, and give him all I love.
But what has gone wrong? In the dream Eric said angrily, “I don’t like fish. I don’t like milk. And toy mice? Are you crazy? I’m not a cat. And I don’t want to be a cat either!” Then he ran back to his small house.
After the dream, I know better dogs don’t like fish or milk. And surely they do not like toy mice. Most important of all, they will let you know when they are really angry!

3. Melissa bought a small house for Eric because Eric did not always like to be with others.
