Total:15 classes Cost: $20 per class About the class: Increase in difficulty each week. The first week is for children up to six years old. The last week is for advanced (高级的) swimmers who want to improve their race skill. Attention:Children can sign up for many classes as they like, but they must pass the skill level test. Children can’t sign up for a level they’re not really for. Children who have never attended Community Pool classes must sign up on 29th or 30th April for a swimming skill test. |
“Swimming classes are fun for all. Children can learn new skills and make new friends. Parents get to meet other parents in the community. Swimming, like bicycling, is a valuable skill that once learned, is never forgotten.” said a mother.
“It’s a joy to teach young children,” said Ginger, a coach at the Mangakino Community Pool. “More than half of them are scared when we put them into the water for the first time. Two months later, they’re asking their parents to go to the pool every day.”
