Are you an “I” person or an “E” person? We hear this question a lot these days.     1     So what is the MBTI test? It’s a personality (人格) test that helps us better understand our personality preferences (偏好). It was developed in the 1940s. When you take the MBTI test, you are provided with several sets of questions.     2     For each question, you need to choose the answer that best matched you. Then you’ll know what your personality type is.

3     First, people want to understand themselves. It’s hard to say human personality, but this test provides a simple way for people to learn about themselves. Next, taking the MBTI test is both relaxing and enjoyable, because its questions are really interesting.     4     The MBTI test offers a way to connect with others deeply. Last but not least, though there are many kinds of personality tests on the market, the MBTI test is the most believable.

The MBTI test may show something we don’t know about ourselves and can be a fun way to help us make new friends. But knowing someone’s MBTI results doesn’t mean we really know that person.     5

1】What do you usually do in your spare time? Chatting online is now a national pastime in China, especially among the post-90s and post-00s generation. To some people, however, online chats can seem like a kind of polite conversation. Yet hidden rules and standards do exist, as long as you take the time to look for them.

Get to the Point

When sending a friend request, include your real name and any other identifying information. Remember, everybody’s time is precious. If there’s something you want, cut right to the chase. Never send an “Are you there?” without any follow-up messages. The quicker that you get to the point, the more likely the other person is to reply.

Send the Right Things

Please send texts, not voice messages. It might be easier for you to speak than type, but what about the person on the other end? They may be unable to listen to a 59-second message right now. Also, never send personal information by voice message—it is hard to note down. Emojis, GIFs and memes can save the day when you find yourself in an embarrassing conversation, or words fail you.

Try to Understand

You can always judge a person’s mood by their text messages. If the person you’re talking to says “Good night” or “I’m going to take a shower.” that’s probably not what they’re actually going to do, it is just an excuse to stop talking to you. If someone hesitates for longer than three seconds before saying “Yes”, they probably really mean “No”. If you receive these emojis from friends who are older, read them literally (照字面地) (as a smile, a wave or a laugh). For the post-90s and post-00s generation, however, they could be speechlessness.

【推荐2】Nowadays we often work as a team.     1    . People want team leaders they can trust. Would you like to be a good leader? Here’s some advice for you.

Ask to know your team

Learn about each person on your team. You can’t be a successful leader unless you know your team.     2    . Try to get close to them by asking questions. For example, as you pass someone, you can ask, “Hi! Do you enjoy doing these projects?” or “Do you have any ideas about how to do it better?”

Talk to your team

3    . It’s a good practice to talk actively with everyone on your team. Tell them what you’re thinking about and what new projects you’re considering. The more you talk to them, the more comfortable they will feel when they give you their opinions.

    4

Let your team feel you’re a good listener. Whenever they have problems at work or at home, listen to what they want to say. Be patient and never try to interrupt them. Make your team feel   they can talk to you.

文章大意:本文介绍了修复朋友之间关系的方法——道歉,并介绍了道歉之前需要知道的事情。
【推荐3】阅读下面短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。每个选项仅使用一次。

Have you ever argued with a friend, and said or done something you regretted? How to repair the broken relationship?     1     Before doing that, here is something you have to know.

Why do we argue?

We argue for all kinds of reasons. You might think your football team is fantastic, but your friend disagrees.     2     Sometimes, especially when you are angry, things can be out of control and you’ll say or do something you regret. Arguing and disagreeing with others are normal in our lives.

What does saying sorry mean?

We all make mistakes. Apologizing(道歉) is a way of admitting(承认) we’ve got something wrong and will try not to do it again. Ted, age 12, said, “Sometimes it’s hard to say sorry.     3    ” Dr. Jennifer Thomas, an expert in thoughts and feelings, believes an apology needs to show the other person that we’re really sorry.

What if it’s not my mistake?

Sometimes another person may pressure you into taking the blame(责备) when it’s not your mistake. When you feel this is happening, there are some things you can do.     4     Then, you can explain to him or her how it made you feel. If you two still can’t agree with each other, you could ask a parent or teacher for help.

Does apologizing always work?

An apology isn’t a magic stick.     5     So even after you say sorry, you will still feel sad sometimes. But you can feel good about trying to fix things and promising to do better next time.

A.Or your friend always uses your things without asking.
B.Understanding and accepting the apology take time.
C.However, we have to try it if we want to make something better.
D.Making an apology is a good way to bring you closer together again.
E.First, try talking about why you argued with him or her.
